Open something useful from a scan.
A QR code or tag on a product, a place or a sign opens your own information or an offer worth claiming.
Morfus Verified · Scans, offers and checks
Someone scans a code or tag on a product, a place or a sign. Morfus Verified is what sits behind that scan: the offer it opens, the redemption it records and, where you need it, a check on a credential. Start with QR and NFC engagement, and add credential checks and incident records as your service needs them.

How it works
Someone scans a code or taps a tag. That opens whatever you have set up behind it. What happens next depends on which of the three capabilities below you are using — and they are not equally ready.

A QR code on a product, a sign in a room or a tag on a shelf opens the page or offer you have set up for it.

Redeemed at the counter
Checked by staff · recorded
Claiming an offer, redeeming it at the counter, or checking an entitlement — each is handled by whichever service you have set up for that programme.
Record for review

2 · At return
Captured in a set order
Review later
For cases where someone needs to look back at what happened, we are building a way to capture information in a set order so it can be reviewed afterwards. This part is not finished.
A scan does not prove who someone is, or that they are standing where they say they are. It opens a service. Whatever gets proved is proved by the check that service performs — not by the scan itself.
What it does
A QR code or tag on a product, a place or a sign opens your own information or an offer worth claiming.
When someone claims an offer, that is recorded. When staff validate it at the counter, that is recorded too, so you can see what was claimed and what was actually used.
A pass is a digital record saying someone is entitled to something — entry, a discount, a room. What it permits, and how it is checked, is decided by whoever issues it. A signed credential can support that check; getting it into a phone wallet, or onto a door, needs its own integration each time.
A way of capturing what happened, in a set order, so a service or insurance team can review it afterwards. Still being built.
Use cases

A code on the packaging opens the brand's own information and an offer worth claiming. This needs no Wi-Fi from us and none of the rest of the platform.

A visitor claims an offer on their phone and staff check it at the counter. Both the claim and the redemption are recorded, so you can see how many of the first became the second.

Capturing the condition of a car at collection and again at return, so a service or insurance team can review it later. This is a workflow we are developing, not a proof system you can rely on today.
